Humans have brains, computers have CPUs, and cars have ECUs. Obviously, if a car is compared to a person, then the four wheels are people's limbs, the body and chassis are people's bones, various circuits and circuits are people's feedback nerves, and ECU is the brain that controls people's various thoughts and behaviors. It can be seen that ECU is the most important part of vehicle performance. So what's the matter with ECU?

1、 What is ECU

ECU (electronic control unit) electronic control unit, also known as "driving computer", "on-board computer", etc. In terms of application, it is a special microcomputer controller for automobile. Like ordinary computers, it is composed of microprocessor (MCU), memory (ROM, RAM), input / output interface (I / O), analog-to-digital converter (A / D), shaping, driving and other large-scale integrated circuits.

It is also easy to recognize from the appearance - there is a control element in the engine electronic fuel injection system that looks like a square box, which is ECU. There are many fine slots around the components, which are used to connect many input and output circuits. Together with other electronic control components, it forms the central nervous system of the car's brain, which monitors all kinds of input data (such as braking, gear shifting, etc.) and various states of the car's operation (acceleration, skidding, fuel consumption, etc.) at any time, And calculate the information sent by various sensors according to the pre-designed program. After processing, send each parameter to each relevant actuator to perform various predetermined control functions.
